Some very sad news
Last night a fire broke out at one of the four Kipster houses in North Manchester, Indiana, USA. We do not yet know the cause of the fire. It must have been a horrible experience for the chickens, however, no people were injured by the fire. The team at MPS Egg Farms, who operates the farms, and the local fire department acted quickly to bring it under control, but unfortunately, the hen house burned down.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire. We are doing everything within our power to support our colleagues in the United States. We thank all the colleagues involved and the North Manchester fire fighters for their swift action. We’ll keep you posted about any developments.
