At Kipster, we believe that every choice counts, even the eggs you use in your baking. Our eggs are certified carbon-neutral. The farm is designed with animal welfare and environmental impact in mind. Kipster hens are fed with agricultural byproducts, meaning that we minimize the use of crops grown just for the birds feed. This is one of many aspects we do to drastically reduce land use, water consumption, and CO₂ emissions compared to conventional egg production.

Ingredients
- 230 g (1 cup) salted butter, softened
- 150 g (¾ cup) light brown sugar
- 150 g (¾ cup) dark brown sugar
- 2 Kipster eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 290 g (2 ⅓ cups) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 200 g dark chocolate (chopped) or chocolate chips
- 50 g chopped walnuts (optional)
- Flaky sea salt (optional, for topping)
Instructions for the Chocolate Chip Cookies with Kipster Eggs
- Preparation: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the wet ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the butter and both sugars until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes). Add the Kipster eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate and nuts: Gently fold in the chocolate chunks and walnuts (if using).
- Shape the cookies: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving enough space between them as they will spread while baking.
- Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown but the center remains slightly soft.
- Cool: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt for an extra flavor boost.
- Enjoy! Serve with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee.
💡 Tip: For even richer flavor, chill the dough for a few hours or overnight before baking. This enhances the taste and texture!
Happy baking 🍪🐣
